HUMAK is a University of Applied Sciences focused on the humanities, pedagogy and culture. HUMAK operates through a nationwide network. There are some 1,400 students at HUMAK and the number of personnel is about 120.

HUMAK participates major European Exchange Programmes. Student and teacher exchange with foreign partner universities is active. HUMAK offers annually courses in English in the fi elds of Cultural Management and Civic Activities and Youth Work.
