Aalto University combines technology, business and art and design. The new Aalto University will be created out of the merger of Helsinki School of Economics, University of Art and Design Helsinki and Helsinki University of Technology. It will begin operations on 1 August 2009, opening up a world of possibilities for multidisciplinary education and research.
